Refund policy

Returns Policy 

We want to do right by our customers. Any change of mind returns will be considered in line with our return rules above, however some items (final sale items) cannot be returned where they are perishable, are sensitive to storage/shipping conditions, or where the returned product may pose a health and safety risk. Please choose carefully as we reserve the right to deny change of mind returns at our discretion. 

If the Product is faulty we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. MADEIN.NZ will accept merchandise or promotional goods or product (Product) returns and provide you with an exchange voucher, refund or repair for goods or merchandise purchased through our website www.madein.nz where: 

The Product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality, or 
The Product is not fit for its intended purpose, or 
The Product does not match the item description; and 
You can present your receipt or other adequate proof of purchase.

While every care is taken when packaging products for transportation, we cannot be liable for any transport damage that may occur after goods leave our premises. 
MADEIN.NZ may elect to return the Product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. MADEIN.NZ reserves the right not to offer an exchange voucher, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect. To qualify to return an item under this Policy: 

Prior to returning any Product item you must contact us support@madein.nz to receive a return authorization, otherwise we will not be able to match the return to you. 
If the process is not followed MADEIN.NZ will not be liable for lost, misplaced, non-matched items that might be returned to MADEIN.NZ. 
If you return the goods then they must be in the same condition as they were sent to you. 
We have seven (7) day grace period following delivery fulfilment where you must contact us to discuss any issues with your Product. 
Requests for return after the seven (7) day grace period will not be considered. 
All qualified Product returns should be made to the MADEIN.NZ official address (D/77 Victoria Street West, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand) along with the invoice/receipt as proof of purchase. 
The customer will be responsible to pay all the shipping costs for returns or exchanges. Shipping costs are non-refundable. 
If the cost of the Product is more than $75, the customer should consider using a trackable shipping method. MADEIN.NZ is not able to guarantee that the returned item will reach us. 
MADEIN.NZ Reserves the right to: assess the condition and age of the returned Product prior to providing a repair, exchange or refund. This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused.

Please note: 
Your original MADEIN.NZ invoice/receipt is the best form of proof of purchase. 
Refunds will be issued using your original payment method. Credit card refunds must be processed back onto the original credit card. Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange on Transaction Fees during your purchase. 
If we issue a refund and the customer has not received the refund within 10 working days please contact your issuing credit card company or financial institution. 
MADEIN.NZ cannot be held liable for processing times of your bank, credit card company or financial institution.
